Most engaged couples spend about 12 to 18 months planning their nuptials, but one bride got her dream proposal and wedding all on the same day—and she didn’t have to lift a finger. Tiffany Jones’ boyfriend got down on one knee on August 17, 2023, in Birmingham, Alabama, and after saying “yes,” her friends and family surprised her by revealing that they had orchestrated a magical wedding for her later that day. Rosemarie Allen, behind the TikTok account @rosemarieallen1, documented every moment and detail from the celebratory events.

In the first video, Jones is shown descending a staircase until she abruptly stops after seeing the proposal setup below her. The bride appears to be in pure shock before she starts sobbing. After collecting herself, she finishes making her descent and then reunites with her boyfriend, who is standing in the middle of a bed of rose petals, lined with candles, and surrounded by a group of their loved ones. The two of them embrace before her boyfriend pulls out his phone and starts reading a script, explaining why he wants to spend the rest of his life with Jones.

“I thank God daily for having brought you in my life,” he says. “You make my life so much better. When I look at you, I see a future. I see someone I can and want to talk about anything with and want to do everything with, the person I want to create memories with that last a lifetime. The love we have is the type of love people dream of. I will fight for you with every breath of my body.” After sharing his touching words, he grabs the ring box from his pocket and gets down on one knee. Jones jumps up and down excitedly while her friends and family shriek. She kisses and hugs her new fiancé.

In the next video, the bride appears speechless and gets emotional when she walks into a room and sees a wedding dress, a strapless mermaid gown with a corset bodice, hanging up. The friends and family members present reveal that they’ve helped plan her wedding and tell her that she’s going to tie the knot in about an hour. “I thought you always said you wanted to get married on the same day,” one friend points out. The bride nods tearfully. “The moment you realize it’s your wedding day!” the text on the screen of the clip says.

Part two of the “surprise wedding” segment features a montage of photos from the special day. The first few images capture the bride’s reaction to seeing her gown for the first time. Then, there’s a video of Jones trying on the garment, complete with a bow in the back, and getting her hair and makeup done.

Part three of the collection of videos is a slideshow of snapshots from the ceremony and reception. The first few pictures exhibit Jones’ walk down the aisle, while she’s carrying a round bouquet of white roses. Based on the photos, the groom is wearing a white floral jacket, a black button-down shirt, and black dress pants while standing at an altar, decorated with white flowers and draping. Some of the images detail the reception setup, which features a black and white color scheme and a modern aesthetic. The tables are covered in white linens and topped with black knotted napkins, lucite chargers, and white floral centerpieces.

The final few videos in the series show the bride walking down the aisle, the newlyweds making their reception entrance, and the bride and groom cutting their wedding cake before posing for photos. Viewers who followed the couple’s journey showed their support in the comments section. “This says a lot about the kind of woman she is,” one user writes. “To be surrounded by the friends she has.. Beautiful.” Another thanked Allen for posting all of the details. “I’m so glad y’all allowed us to be a virtual guest,” someone says.
